Three quick and easy uses for essential oils to clean your home!
Lemon – use to remove adhesive. I was a die hard Goo Gone user until I found that a few drops of pure lemon essential oil did the trick just as well!
Lavender – put a few drops on a cotton ball and place in closets to repel moths.
Peppermint – dilute with distilled water, and white vinegar and squirt anywhere you see ants. I’ve used peppermint essential oils all over this site! Here are some other places where it’s come up on All Abode.

This is an interesting concept and would love to give it a try. I would also enjoy smelling something pleasant instead of the chemical smell that many cleaning products leave behind

Very cool!! I LOVE PEPPERMINT!! And I’d love a natural way to keep the ants away – especially with our daughter moving all around now…and the dogs too!! Maybe it’ll make their breath smell better too
