Lavender Lemonade

posted by Annie

I’ll be unveiling a new recipe for tonight’s soirĂ©e about Young Living Essential Oils. This one comes from the Young Living Cookbook Volume 1*

Lavender Lemonade

7 lemons, peeled
2 limes, peeled and juiced
14 cups water
1 1/2 cups Blue Agave* [Note: I think 1 cup is good.]
1 drop of lavender oil*

Mix all ingredients together and chill. Add more water or Blue Agave depending on the size and tartness of the fruit.

I thought this turned out great. Definitely only needed 8 oz of Blue Agave.

Your brother makes a similar lemonade with basil leaves. Bet you can use the basil oil, right? I am going to try a drop of the lavender oil in my lemon/water.

A little bit goes a long way. Keep in mind that one drop of lavender was good for nearly a gallon of lemonade. If you made all of your lemon water at once and just keep pouring it all day long, I would think that would be fine.
